Our Story
Lotus Amba was born from Lotus Rescue NGO, as a social-enterprise saree label rooted in West Bengal, India. We work with rural women artisans, reviving ancient crafts like hand-painting, Patachitra art, Dokra jewelry, and natural dye weaving. Each saree is handcrafted — no machines, no replicas — just heritage in motion.
Our Values
We believe in fashion with purpose—rooted in empowerment, sustainability and authenticity. Our sarees are made using natural dyes, hand woven fabrics and traditional Indian art, preserving heritage while offering dignified livelihoods to rural women. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, we celebrate the beauty of imperfection and soul in every creation.
